Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about our AI skills programmes, delivery formats, and what to expect when you train with us in Singapore.
Is AI Skills SG a government programme, and do you guarantee a job or promotion?
No. AI Skills SG Pte. Ltd. is a private vocational training provider registered in Singapore (UEN 202518734K). We are not a government agency, statutory board, Workforce Singapore initiative, or SkillsFuture programme unless explicitly stated in a written agreement for a specific corporate engagement. We do not guarantee employment, job placement, promotion, salary increase, or any specific career outcome upon completion of our courses. Our programmes are designed for professional development — to help Singapore professionals learn AI tools and prompt engineering skills that may enhance their workplace performance. Individual results depend on personal effort, existing qualifications, market conditions, and employer decisions beyond our control.
Which AI tools do you teach?
Our curriculum covers the AI tools most relevant to Singapore's professional environment: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Microsoft Copilot (integrated with Microsoft 365), and Claude (Anthropic). We focus on transferable prompt engineering principles that apply across platforms, so skills remain useful as the tool landscape evolves. Participants use their own accounts during training; we guide setup and configuration but do not provide licensed subscriptions.
Do I need technical or programming experience?
No programming experience is required. Our courses are designed for professionals in business, marketing, operations, HR, finance, consulting, and freelance roles who want practical AI skills for daily work. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with email, documents, and spreadsheets is sufficient. Module one establishes foundations for everyone, regardless of prior AI exposure.
What is the time commitment for the full programme?
The live cohort programme runs approximately ten weeks with one three-hour session per week, plus two to three hours of independent practice. Self-paced modules can be completed over four to six weeks each at your own speed. The weekend intensive covers modules one and two in two full days. We designed our formats to accommodate Singapore professionals who cannot pause their careers to upskill.
Where are sessions held?
Most sessions take place at our studio on the 26th floor of International Plaza, 10 Anson Road, Singapore 079903 — in the Tanjong Pagar district, near Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Corporate workshops can be delivered on-site at your office or at our studio. Self-paced modules are accessed online, with optional in-person office hours at our Singapore location.
What certificate do I receive?
Graduates who complete all six modules and the capstone portfolio assessment receive a Certificate of Completion from AI Skills SG Pte. Ltd. This certifies that you have demonstrated competence in our curriculum — practical AI work skills, prompt engineering, quality review, and deliverable production. It is a private credential, not a government-issued qualification or university credit.
Can my company sponsor my training?
Yes. Many Singapore employers support professional development for their teams. We provide official invoices and programme outlines suitable for HR or L&D approval processes. For organisations enrolling three or more participants, we offer group pricing and can customise content for corporate AI skills training engagements. Contact us with subject "Corporate AI skills training" for details.
How is prompt engineering taught differently here?
Rather than sharing generic prompt lists, we teach prompt engineering as a systematic craft: scoping tasks, structuring instructions, managing context, iterating on outputs, and reviewing results against professional standards. You build personal prompt libraries organised by workflow, not by tool. This approach produces reliable results with ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude — and prepares you to adapt as new AI tools emerge.
